We’ve designed this guide to make choosing your size as simple and accurate as possible, based on both our measurements and real customer fittings.
Our sizing follows Australian numerical sizing. As there’s no universal standard across brands, your size may vary elsewhere. This guide is the best way to find your fit in SÜK.
Find Your Size
1. Measure your body
Bust – measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape measure firm and straight, wrap it under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
Waist – measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso that sits above your hips, where you would like the waistline of your new gear to sit.
Hips - measure the fullest part of your hips and bum.
2. Use your largest measurement
Match your measurements to the chart below using your largest measurement (this is usually your hips).
This ensures the garment fits comfortably across your body.
3. Consider how you like your fit & adjust for your body
- Prefer a firm fit? You can size down
- Prefer a relaxed fit? Size Up
- Between sizes? Most customers choose the larger size for comfort and the ability to cinch the waist using the adjusters
Important: Where you wear your waistband
All our styles are designed to sit high on the waist (except our Mid-Rise Cargo Pants).
Wear them high-waisted → stay true to size or size down
Wear them mid or low rise → consider sizing up or measure where you would like them to sit and compare this measurement to the waist measurement in the chart
All our garments have waist adjusters, allowing the waist to be brought in by up to 10cm.

- Looking for a firm fit? You can size down in our Cotton Drill. This is because the fabric will relax with wear
- In-between sizes? Most customers size up when between sizes for comfort, and the waist can be cinched in for a great fit.
- Your height and torso length matter: taller customers may prefer more room through the rise and size up

Body Length for Suits (Short vs Long)
Some suits are available in short body and long body options. This refers to your torso length, not your height or inseam length.
If you usually get a wedgie in a jumpsuit, get the LONG BODY
Never had this issue before, get the SHORT BODY
Generally, if you are taller than 180cm, we recommend the Brumby or Roper suits with adjustable straps for extra torso length, and double-check the inseam length will work for you.
The SÜK team says:
“Our staff like to size down from their pants sizing for a snug fit in our Brumby, Lagoon and Yard suits. Our Roper and Ringer suits are already fitted and true to size”
Garment Measurements
We provide individual garment measurements on every single one of our items! If you're someone who loves that extra detail, please have a read on the specific garment page.
We also try to display the size each model is wearing and their measurements to help you.
These measurements are taken from the flattened physical garment, and then doubled to achieve an accurate measurement. Each chart is specific to each individual style. There is a variation of 1-2cm per garment, as our styles are prewashed and pre-shrunk before we send them to you.
You can use the garment measurements and measure an existing comfy item of clothing and compare it to our chart.
Fabric Notes
Drill: Durable and classic. We recommend an initial firm fit, as our cotton relaxes with wear. It’s similar to true denim, where the fibres soften the more you wear it. Washing will help bring it back to its original firmness.
Denim: Our denim offers the most reliable, true-to-size fit. It has a natural give that conforms to your body over time while maintaining its shape. If you are buying Denim, order your standard size.
Canvas: Built for heavy-duty protection, our Canvas is a thick, highly rigid material with zero stretch. It requires a break-in period. Fit Tip: If you need more room for bending and moving, or if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Ripstop: Lightweight but incredibly tough, Ripstop is a zero-stretch fabric. Because it does not yield around the hips or waist, we strongly recommend sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer a looser, more comfortable fit for active work.

Style Note
All our pants are designed to be worn higher on your waist, no plumbers’ crack here.
Wearing them lower on your hips may change how the size feels.
Remember, the waist is adjustable on all our garments.

I cried happy tears when I first put these on. I’ve never had a pair of pants fit me SO well, and I have been struggling all my life to find pants that fit both my masculine style and my big hips. They feel roomy throughout without feeling baggy or ill-fitting, and I finally feel confident with pants for the first time in forever. Thank you for having such a wide range of sizes and providing a detailed size chart with various measurements. I will definitely be buying more of these in different colors (maybe a realtree camo print one day? 🙏) Also, a plus for anyone who cuts hair: I’ve had no issues with little hairs poking through the fabric like I’ve experienced with denim. I’m so so happy to have found a practical new work pant on top of just an every day pant.
Perfect pants! I intend to buy more of these! I love the functionality of the 2way pants but for an option that requires no bells and whistles, these are fantastic. Lovely fit and less tight around the knees than the 2-way pants.
I have a pair of two way work pants that I LOVE, tried some station pants they weren't for me but the Plain Pants... oh wow! I love love love them, the are comfy and look great. Will definitely be getting more. Thanks SUK

One of my sons told me about these trousers. I took his advice a bought a couple of pairs. I now feel as cool as he is.

Best pants ever so comfortable
I have nothing but love for my plain pants. It took a bit of extra effort to find the right size, but after one return and resize round, they now fit wonderfully. These pants provide a flattering shape and fit, where I feel comfortable but also accented in the right places. My sizing experience: I took my measurements, lined them up with the size chart, and ordered accordingly (size 14). Unfortunately, when they arrived they fit well in the thighs and hips but too tight in the waist. These pants have a small waist to hip ratio. I had to size up (size 16) to account for the smaller waist. For reference, I am 5’8” and 185 pounds. Normally I wear a size 10/12 pants but for the plain pants a size 16 fit best.
Adjustable waist is the best thing ever
Love these pants they feel amazing and the fit is perfect. Great for work, home, or out adventuring.
I manage a metalshop. I kill pants and most work clothing dont have a fit that is satisfying. These fit great and have held up so im rather happy with them.
Have owned Sük pants, shorts, and suits for a while now. I wanted to pick a new pair of pants to travel with for the next 12months. Always happy- super comfortable, practical, and know that they will last the wear and tear of a year living out of a backpack!
I am 5’3” 153lbs and on the curvier side. These fit like an absolute DREAM. They hug me without spillage or being too baggy, and the waist cinches are amazing. Excellent quality and comfier than most jeans I own. So glad I found this brand, these pants felt like they were made just for me!!
Friendly to those with sensory issues! I haven't been able to wear anything other than sweats for over a year and now I wear these pants all the time. I love that I can tighten the right side more than the left and vice versa whenever one side feels "off." I tried to get a picture of my back and how the pants ACTUALLY LAY FLAT against it. First pants I've ever owned to do that. Will be buying shorts in the summer!
I find the pants a little too tight around the waist other waist a great fit.

Rise is a bit short but love the detail!
Sizing wasn't right for me. Purchased size 14 in this style but too tight around the waist. Same size in the elasticized waist is slightly too big. Had to return. Nice fabric though
I wanted to love the plain pant. The material is sturdy but feels like it would mold to you over time. I have a 30.5” waist and 41” hips but usually find pants to be big in the waist and too tight in the hips/ bum. I originally ordered size 10 and they were hard to get on because they were too small. I could zip them up but they were a la Sandy in Greece tight. I exchanged them for a size 12 which I think was the right size. I like that the high rise actually gets to my waist. I’m 5’8” and high waisted pants usually end up an inch or two below my belly button but the rise on these was right at the waist. I like how they looked from the back and was content with the side view. I didn’t like how they fit at the crotch though, a little baggy and frumpy looking from the front. I also don’t think the hip measurement on the website is right. It says the hips are 44.5” and my hips are 40.5” and while they weren’t tight in the hips, they weren’t loose either. That said maybe they would have stretched if I had worn them more. They were tight at my waist, but I’ve seen in other reviews the waist stretches out for people after a couple days of wear.
I bought these pants for my daughter for Christmas. The pants are high quality! She has a pair already & loves them. The issue I have with SUK is-I bought 1 pair each of same pants while on sale for $69.30. After purchasing the items. I received an email saying they where out of stock in the sizes order. Offered me a 10% off my next order promo code. The website showed the same pants where available in the size I ordered however now I had to pay $99.00. This does not feel like good customer service. Just wanted folks to know this could happen.
Sizing for all different designs are a bit different. The crotch area is too baggy and unflattering and also i dont know how i got 2 holes after just 4-5 wears. Personally i have never had pants get holes in the crotch area so it was a very embarrassing experience when I realized my crotch had a hole while I was at work. My usual wear and tear with pants are at the bum from sitting so I suspect the pants came with weak points from the start
I am from USA so maybe I just got the sizing wrong. The pant themselves fit however no way was I going to zip up the waist. I wasted shipping fees both ways. These pants are not for American women who work.
