A mid-rise fit that sits just below the belly button with a relaxed, functional feel. Designed for comfort through the hips with extra room and utility through the leg.

We’ve designed this guide to make choosing your size as simple and accurate as possible, based on both our measurements and real customer fittings.
Our sizing follows Australian numerical sizing. As there’s no universal standard across brands, your size may vary elsewhere. This guide is the best way to find your fit in SÜK.
Find Your Size
1. Measure your body
Bust – measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape measure firm and straight, wrap it under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
Waist – measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso that sits above your hips, where you would like the waistline of your new gear to sit.
Hips - measure the fullest part of your hips and bum.
2. Use your largest measurement
Match your measurements to the chart below using your largest measurement (this is usually your hips).
This ensures the garment fits comfortably across your body.
3. Consider how you like your fit & adjust for your body
- Prefer a firm fit? You can size down
- Prefer a relaxed fit? Size Up
- Between sizes? Most customers choose the larger size for comfort and the ability to cinch the waist using the adjusters
Important: Where you wear your waistband
All our styles are designed to sit high on the waist (except our Mid-Rise Cargo Pants).
Wear them high-waisted → stay true to size or size down
Wear them mid or low rise → consider sizing up or measure where you would like them to sit and compare this measurement to the waist measurement in the chart
All our garments have waist adjusters, allowing the waist to be brought in by up to 10cm.

- Looking for a firm fit? You can size down in our Cotton Drill. This is because the fabric will relax with wear
- In-between sizes? Most customers size up when between sizes for comfort, and the waist can be cinched in for a great fit.
- Your height and torso length matter: taller customers may prefer more room through the rise and size up

Body Length for Suits (Short vs Long)
Some suits are available in short body and long body options. This refers to your torso length, not your height or inseam length.
If you usually get a wedgie in a jumpsuit, get the LONG BODY
Never had this issue before, get the SHORT BODY
Generally, if you are taller than 180cm, we recommend the Brumby or Roper suits with adjustable straps for extra torso length, and double-check the inseam length will work for you.
The SÜK team says:
“Our staff like to size down from their pants sizing for a snug fit in our Brumby, Lagoon and Yard suits. Our Roper and Ringer suits are already fitted and true to size”
Garment Measurements
We provide individual garment measurements on every single one of our items! If you're someone who loves that extra detail, please have a read on the specific garment page.
We also try to display the size each model is wearing and their measurements to help you.
These measurements are taken from the flattened physical garment, and then doubled to achieve an accurate measurement. Each chart is specific to each individual style. There is a variation of 1-2cm per garment, as our styles are prewashed and pre-shrunk before we send them to you.
You can use the garment measurements and measure an existing comfy item of clothing and compare it to our chart.
Fabric Notes
Drill: Durable and classic. We recommend an initial firm fit, as our cotton relaxes with wear. It’s similar to true denim, where the fibres soften the more you wear it. Washing will help bring it back to its original firmness.
Denim: Our denim offers the most reliable, true-to-size fit. It has a natural give that conforms to your body over time while maintaining its shape. If you are buying Denim, order your standard size.
Canvas: Built for heavy-duty protection, our Canvas is a thick, highly rigid material with zero stretch. It requires a break-in period. Fit Tip: If you need more room for bending and moving, or if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Ripstop: Lightweight but incredibly tough, Ripstop is a zero-stretch fabric. Because it does not yield around the hips or waist, we strongly recommend sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer a looser, more comfortable fit for active work.

Style Note
All our pants are designed to be worn higher on your waist, no plumbers’ crack here.
Wearing them lower on your hips may change how the size feels.
Remember, the waist is adjustable on all our garments.

Love the pants. Arrived quickly.
Absolutely love the trousers, I have four pairs now in different colours. But better still, I love the team at Suk!! I bought the wrong size by mistake and needed to exchange. The team were excellent, super supportive, really helpful. They made every part of the process simple and were so lovely and didn't make me feel like total numpty because I screwed up. I'm definitely recommending you to everyone I know. Most comfortable and hard wearing trousers ever (and omg the pockets!!) and they're sold by some of the nicest people on the planet.

Love the pants, perfect for working in the garden. Comfortable and robust, so they felt good to wear both standing up and bending down. I thought they would be a little looser than they are but after a few wears have stretched so are comfortable. Waiting for the pink in that style!!!

High rise pants just don’t work for my menopausal stomach - I feel pinchy and squashed. These mid rise pants are perfect! They sit just where I like, make my bum look amazing and are made from gorgeous soft cotton drill. Tough enough to be perfect for fieldwork but not stiff and needing breaking in! More generous than I need in the bum and thighs but not annoyingly so. LOVE the amount and size of the pockets!!

I wear my pants every day for work and I love them! The wide fit is the best as I have thick thighs and do a lot of crouching and getting into awkward positions. Love them!!

I’m a dog groomer and these pants are great for work. I’m 65kg, 165cm with thighs and the 8 was too small. I returned for a 10.
I have a strangely high hip to waist ratio so sizing is always a challenge. I originally ordered the 6 which would have been great for a tighter fit but impossible around my waist so ended up going straight up to a 10. They are a baggier look now but fit my waist really well and now can bend and sit down with ease. Haven’t yet made use of all the pockets but the potential alone is excellent.
Though I brought a larger,size I can pull them in on the side; the pants so comfortable and I get comm ents from folks saying they like the pants & colour. I think they are great. Will be buying again.😊

I love wearing these rolled up with my blunestones. These are great if you have a flatter ass, I do love the two-way pat but if you’re wanting your butt to pop these are definitely the go to.
I really like the green pants I get complements on them all the time! They’re not too baggy they fit just right. I work in a bakery so I was a bit hesitant to buy pants since the weather is getting warmer but the weight of the pants is pretty light and breathable!

Great fit, love that you can tighten at the sides
I am gonna be so honest. I was terrified to buy these pants because I was worried they weren’t gonna fit me. I am, respectfully, shaped like a cereal box. Or perhaps a brick. I am 5’3 on a good day, and about 168-170 depending on my mood. My hips are 45” when they feel like it, and my waist is 36” when I’m not looking in the mirror. I recently started a job where I needed durable pants that held up to my constant movement and accidental falls. I had been looking at these pants for weeks now measuring, and remeasuring myself, and praying I would get the correct size. My hips are basically non existent and my stomach is shaped like the letter B when I stand sideways. I was praying that I would buy these pants and they A) wouldn’t swallow me in fabric, and B) actually fit my weirdly not proportionate body. I tried them on when I got them, and I felt weirdly comfortable. I looked in the mirror bracing myself for….something. I saw that these pants fit me, my weird waist, and strange manly hips, in a flattering and comfortable way. It actually felt like these pants were made for me. When I tell you, I nearly cried on the spot, I mean it. It’s so hard to find pants that look AND feel good. These pants do both. I’m immediately buying a second pair in burgundy!!!!

I am in love with the cargo pant and will be ordering another color! I have a petite frame, and have a hard time finding heavy duty work pants that are tough but also fit my waist. The adjustable size gives me room to move, but keeps them snug for any type of outdoor activity. Love the deep pockets and material, highly recommend!

I do love my burgundy work pants. But I will say the customer service was very nice. My first pair were too small. I got frustrated sending them back due an intense work schedule, but the customer service people were very kind. My new pair fits perfectly. Also there are little buckles on the sides of the hips that help as the pairs stretches out so the fit remains. They are very sturdy, and the pockets are big! Thanks!
