We’ve designed this guide to make choosing your size as simple and accurate as possible, based on both our measurements and real customer fittings.
Our sizing follows Australian numerical sizing. As there’s no universal standard across brands, your size may vary elsewhere. This guide is the best way to find your fit in SÜK.
Find Your Size
1. Measure your body
Bust – measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape measure firm and straight, wrap it under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
Waist – measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso that sits above your hips, where you would like the waistline of your new gear to sit.
Hips - measure the fullest part of your hips and bum.
2. Use your largest measurement
Match your measurements to the chart below using your largest measurement (this is usually your hips).
This ensures the garment fits comfortably across your body.
3. Consider how you like your fit & adjust for your body
- Prefer a firm fit? You can size down
- Prefer a relaxed fit? Size Up
- Between sizes? Most customers choose the larger size for comfort and the ability to cinch the waist using the adjusters
Important: Where you wear your waistband
All our styles are designed to sit high on the waist (except our Mid-Rise Cargo Pants).
Wear them high-waisted → stay true to size or size down
Wear them mid or low rise → consider sizing up or measure where you would like them to sit and compare this measurement to the waist measurement in the chart
All our garments have waist adjusters, allowing the waist to be brought in by up to 10cm.

- Looking for a firm fit? You can size down in our Cotton Drill. This is because the fabric will relax with wear
- In-between sizes? Most customers size up when between sizes for comfort, and the waist can be cinched in for a great fit.
- Your height and torso length matter: taller customers may prefer more room through the rise and size up

Body Length for Suits (Short vs Long)
Some suits are available in short body and long body options. This refers to your torso length, not your height or inseam length.
If you usually get a wedgie in a jumpsuit, get the LONG BODY
Never had this issue before, get the SHORT BODY
Generally, if you are taller than 180cm, we recommend the Brumby or Roper suits with adjustable straps for extra torso length, and double-check the inseam length will work for you.
The SÜK team says:
“Our staff like to size down from their pants sizing for a snug fit in our Brumby, Lagoon and Yard suits. Our Roper and Ringer suits are already fitted and true to size”
Garment Measurements
We provide individual garment measurements on every single one of our items! If you're someone who loves that extra detail, please have a read on the specific garment page.
We also try to display the size each model is wearing and their measurements to help you.
These measurements are taken from the flattened physical garment, and then doubled to achieve an accurate measurement. Each chart is specific to each individual style. There is a variation of 1-2cm per garment, as our styles are prewashed and pre-shrunk before we send them to you.
You can use the garment measurements and measure an existing comfy item of clothing and compare it to our chart.
Fabric Notes
Drill: Durable and classic. We recommend an initial firm fit, as our cotton relaxes with wear. It’s similar to true denim, where the fibres soften the more you wear it. Washing will help bring it back to its original firmness.
Denim: Our denim offers the most reliable, true-to-size fit. It has a natural give that conforms to your body over time while maintaining its shape. If you are buying Denim, order your standard size.
Canvas: Built for heavy-duty protection, our Canvas is a thick, highly rigid material with zero stretch. It requires a break-in period. Fit Tip: If you need more room for bending and moving, or if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Ripstop: Lightweight but incredibly tough, Ripstop is a zero-stretch fabric. Because it does not yield around the hips or waist, we strongly recommend sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer a looser, more comfortable fit for active work.

Style Note
All our pants are designed to be worn higher on your waist, no plumbers’ crack here.
Wearing them lower on your hips may change how the size feels.
Remember, the waist is adjustable on all our garments.

I sized up to get a longer inseam and a looser fit around my hips. I’ve tightened the waist adjusters to their maximum capacity but they’re still a touch loose so I’ll be wearing it with a belt. I really like the way it fits and feels so far.
Lovely fabrics, great fit!
I got the construction pants and I've been practically living in them while I work on my guest room. This led me to try out the Sunday jeans. I'm a very curvy plus size woman and when I say these jeans are a god send I mean it. While they didn't heal a lifetime of struggle and disappointment in regard to trying on and wearing jeans, they come really close. When these pants have worn out, I'll be coming back for more.
Nice high waisted shape
Best jeans ever. I'm 165cm, 65kg and the size fits perfectly. The length is just right for a slightly longer look to wear with shorter heels and boots, without dragging along ground. It hugs the hips without massive gaping at the waist, the built in waist adjusters eliminate any gap whatsoever for the perfect fit. Love the colour also

I have bought these jeans and already own a pair of shorts, the quality is unreal. I would recommend to everyone, I wear these consistently to work and know they are going to last for years 🤗
I love these bloody pants! So hard to find something that makes your bum look good + holds the belly comfortably + doesn't have a weird gap either in the front or back. I was worried the material would feel too thin but fear not whilst it's lightweight it still feels quality. I do wish there were different washes available but I like the blue. Doesn't accidentally turn into bootcut jeans for those with bigger thighs (which is what I hate with other jeans!) I'd highly recommend :)

The Sunday Jeans are a good cut and fit for waist and torso ratio. The leg length could be slightly longer for a taller person - 5”9 but obviously can live with it as I don’t have to take time and expense to take up as being too long as some peeps may find. Good deep Indigo colour and denim fabric weight. Happy days!
I love these pants. High waisted but not binding. Great with or without long underwear!!🥶 Great Deep pockets. So many denims have super short dumb pockets and your money falls out. Love.
Long term customer and never disappointed by the quality of the clothing
Super super comfortable for everyday wear. Fit and sizing is exactly and described and the hidden waist adjusters are a game changer. My waist sits higher than most so if you’re like me, these pants sit EXACTLY where you want them to. The fabric is slightly less weight than a pair of Levi’s jeans (so they feel a tad thinner) but the weave is tight and I don’t think that will be an issue of quality. I do wish that the back leather label on the waist were a bit nicer looking, but I wear a belt so that’s a nonstarter. Highly recommended!

I have NEVER been able to find jeans that fit me at the waist and hips and length and just became used to getting something that was close enough and getting them altered. The Sunday Jeans however are PERFECT. The fit, cut and quality are brilliant. The help I got in store from Nikita was the best - she was so good at explaining the different styles, fit, wear, give etc. Bloody fantastic jeans - absolutely recommend!!
Wonderful quality and fit
Oh my goodness, I love love love these jeans...and so does my husband. I bought them in your sale thinking I wouldn't be wearing them until winter, but I tried them on to check sizing and have barely stopped wearing them since. I chose sizing based on my measurements and your size guide and they were a perfect fit! I will no doubt buy more of them! SUKs stop making such good products, my wardrobe is overflowing with them!
I love these jeans. I was already a SUK customer - I own several pairs of the Construction pants that I wear for fieldwork in the desert. These jeans fit more or less the same as the Construction pant, perhaps a fraction narrower through the bottom of the leg. I can never find jeans that fit properly but these are amazing, comfortable and flattering.

Once again, Sük comes through with the goods. I usually wear a 16, but returned the 16 for a 14 as I found the 16 just a little too baggy for my liking, and too cinched with the internal waistband that it looked a little funny. They have definitely given a bit already with wear (granted I have been wearing everyday and this is normal with denim). It’s hard to know if sizing down is recommended - so start with your true size and go from there. The wash of the denim is amazing, the length is perfect. No notes!
The fabric is great quality - the denim feels soft but strong and I love the colour. The cut and fit of Suk pants is their main draw card imo (when the quality control team manage to get things right that is) and the Sunday Jeans definitely have that excellent cut that makes them different to (as in better than) other pants. I usualy wear 'construction pants' in size 12 (and they fit exactly how I like) so I went with a size 12 in these jeans too. I personally prefer the fit of the construction pants, I think the Sunday Jeans are a little roomier especially around the bum and through the thigh. I'm sure this will be great for some people but for me I'm going to try a size down and see if I like them better.

Super comfy. The material is really soft but sturdy. The colour is nice and deep. Fits perfectly. Make me feel really well supported in my belly and butt.
Love these jeans, walked over a hill and felt they stretched quite a bit. The adjustable waist is clutch, but would suggest sizing down by one.
I am a U.S. 12 so ordered a size up but they are a bit tight. I love them though so am inspired to lose weight!
Great quality denim, very comfortable to wear. A bit big through the rear and too long. But worth alterations for sure.
Initially it was so comfy and fit so well, however after fewonths in the elastic in the waistband getting loose. As baggy leg jeans it weighs down so now I have to wear a belt. I still love it, but if the waistband was the toggle adjusters just like other work pants, it would have been GOAT jeans.
The wide leg / high rise cut is delightful, and the fit was perfect for me with a size 10 as someone who wears between 28-30in waist in american men's pants, no adjustment needed. The fabric is juuust a little lighter than I would prefer for a pair of jeans, but not so much as to worry for their longevity. I would prefer external waist adjusters rather than the interior elastic band and button set-up on these. Additionally, while the inseam works for me, I think they would work much better for a wider variety of people with a few longer options. Finally, the stitching on the interior leg seams is pretty loose. It's not terribly bad, but I can pull the two sections of fabric apart with a moderate amount of force and see the stitching straining. Maybe this is intentional for some reason that I'm overlooking, but it strikes me as a point of concern. Overall though I'm very happy with these and plan to year them for years to come!
I Love my SUK Bermuda Shorts, so thought I would try the Sunday Jeans. I love the design & the quality of construction of the Sunday jeans. The size 20 Sunday jeans fit me perfectly at the waist & hip, but the leg length is way too short for me to be able to wear them out & about with confidence - because the cuff at the bottom of the legs routinely pulls up over the top of my boots & I find myself constantly having to flick the cuff off the top of my boots. I will still wear them for working at home though. SUK Team, Pretty pretty please can you add a “Tall” leg length options to all the pants in your range for all of your long legged Peeps 💙🩷
The fit on the butt and hips are fantastic for me, the length is great, the wide leg is quite swimmy though. They feel so good to wear, though, the look hardly detracts from the experience of wearing them. Will be back for more!
From description that says "same fit to construction pants", I decided to go with these jeans. But from waist to hip doesn't fit as good as construction pants, feels slightly big. Maybe less adjustment option. But still very comfortable jeans. I am intending to wear aeroplane trips as well as I am not fancy traveling in sweat pants. Thank you!
