Sizing Tips
The 2 Way Pants run true to SÜK size, with a slimmer fit.
Please note all sizing is based on Standard Australian dress sizing, these are not inches! Please check our size chart for more details.
We’ve designed this guide to make choosing your size as simple and accurate as possible, based on both our measurements and real customer fittings.
Our sizing follows Australian numerical sizing. As there’s no universal standard across brands, your size may vary elsewhere. This guide is the best way to find your fit in SÜK.
Find Your Size
1. Measure your body
Bust – measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape measure firm and straight, wrap it under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
Waist – measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso that sits above your hips, where you would like the waistline of your new gear to sit.
Hips - measure the fullest part of your hips and bum.
2. Use your largest measurement
Match your measurements to the chart below using your largest measurement (this is usually your hips).
This ensures the garment fits comfortably across your body.
3. Consider how you like your fit & adjust for your body
Prefer a firm fit? You can size down
Prefer a relaxed fit? Size Up
Between sizes? Most customers choose the larger size for comfort and the ability to cinch the waist using the adjusters
Important: Where you wear your waistband
All our styles are designed to sit high on the waist (except our Mid-Rise Cargo Pants).
Wear them high-waisted → stay true to size or size down
Wear them mid or low rise → consider sizing up or measure where you would like them to sit and compare this measurement to the waist measurement in the chart
All our garments have waist adjusters, allowing the waist to be brought in by up to 10cm.
Real Fit Insights
From our in-store fittings and customer feedback:
Looking for a firm fit? You can size down in our Cotton Drill. This is because the fabric will relax with wear
In-between sizes? Most customers size up when between sizes for comfort, and the waist can be cinched in for a great fit.
Your height and torso length matter: taller customers may prefer more room through the rise and size up

Body Length for Suits (Short vs Long)
Some suits are available in short body and long body options. This refers to your torso length, not your height or inseam length.
If you usually get a wedgie in a jumpsuit, get the LONG BODY
Never had this issue before, get the SHORT BODY
Generally, if you are taller than 180cm, we recommend the Brumby or Roper suits with adjustable straps for extra torso length, and double-check the inseam length will work for you.
The SÜK team says: “Our staff like to size down from their pants sizing for a snug fit in our Brumby, Lagoon and Yard suits. Our Roper and Ringer suits are already fitted and true to size”
Garment Measurements
We provide individual garment measurements on every single one of our items! If you're someone who loves that extra detail, please have a read on the specific garment page. We also try to display the size each model is wearing and their measurements to help you.
These measurements are taken from the flattened physical garment, and then doubled to achieve an accurate measurement. Each chart is specific to each individual style. There is a variation of 1-2cm per garment, as our styles are prewashed and pre-shrunk before we send them to you.
You can use the garment measurements and measure an existing comfy item of clothing and compare it to our chart.
Fabric Notes
Drill: Durable and classic. We recommend an initial firm fit, as our cotton relaxes with wear. It’s similar to true denim, where the fibres soften the more you wear it. Washing will help bring it back to its original firmness.
Denim: Our denim offers the most reliable, true-to-size fit. It has a natural give that conforms to your body over time while maintaining its shape. If you are buying Denim, order your standard size.
Canvas: Built for heavy-duty protection, our Canvas is a thick, highly rigid material with zero stretch. It requires a break-in period. Fit Tip: If you need more room for bending and moving, or if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Ripstop: Lightweight but incredibly tough, Ripstop is a zero-stretch fabric. Because it does not yield around the hips or waist, we strongly recommend sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer a looser, more comfortable fit for active work.
Measuring Tips
Measure in your underwear where possible Keep the tape firm but not tight Ensure the tape sits flat
Style Note
All our pants are designed to be worn higher on your waist, no plumbers’ crack here. Wearing them lower on your hips may change how the size feels. Remember, the waist is adjustable on all our garments.

Been wearing them a few weeks. Bought a few sizes up, fits like a dream with enough room for repeated movements. I can adjust the fit to sit at my waist or my hip depending on the situation. Thick fabric, sturdy construction, and great features. Will be buying again.
I have a big booty and a small waist. It's nearly impossible to find any pants that fit, let alone durable work pants that are built to move and carry. Suk has high quality pants in different shapes with features that help you make small adjustments to the fit. And the detail with which they measure and describe their products on their website makes it easy to shop online. I got the perfect fit on the first try, and the pockets are as deep as men's pockets!
Love love love! The fit is perfect and they feel amazing. Sturdy, but not too stiff. I’m 5’4 and generally wear a US 18, I got the size 22 in SÜK. They’re a tag long, but I had intended to cuff them and even uncuffed, they’re not so long that they’re dragging. The waste hits in the perfect spot for me. They are a roomy for good movement and don’t pull in any areas when I crouch down. I’m a sucker for Hickory Stripe, but it can be hard to find any options for women, especially in plus size. I was concerned about the “bagginess”, but they’re just roomy for movement with a flattering fit, not safety hazard level baggy. I was going to try the station pants on my next order, but I’m so happy with this style, I don’t know if I even want to stray from it.
WASH SAFE. I was so worried these would shrink because I got the cotton drill and they didn’t! I washed on cold so keep that in mind. These are such a good fit and so perfectly thick. I work with puppies and their little claws and teeth shredded through 10 pairs of pants last year and so far these have been holding up! The extra knee layer and inseam length is just what I needed. I’ve been recommending them to everyone! Thank you so much!
Considering this package came from the other side of the world the shipping was crazy quick ❤️ I absolutely adore SUK pants, the quality of the fabric is so good and it fits very well. I'd just say they're 3cm too short for my personal taste :)
I absolutely love these pants! From the fit, to the style, to the construction. They are wonderfully made and my new favorite riding pants! I am 5’6 and the length is perfect. I purchased a AUS 4 and am a 25 inch waist.
Because the fabric is pretty thick, l'll wait until the weather cools a bit before wearing them. They are too big, but I think if I tighten the waist and roll up the legs, it'll be all right.
Next time I'll buy size 14.
I'd like to order a pair of "plain pants" but the full range of colours is not available in 14. I'd love to know when they will be
I'm typically between sizes so need a size 13. Luckily I am used to adjusting so that's what I've done. A bit of a nip and tuck here and there. The good thing about alterations is you get to see how well made garments are and the SUK construction is excellent.
They are very comfortable, the thigh is a little wide as I have skinny thighs but makes it easy to bend down. What I really love is the thick material on the knees as I kneel in the dirt a lot, this alone has made me want another pair. Actually a pair in every colour.
I tried this brand after a friend recommended them. I am high-waisted with a "bubble butt" (most of the volume of my butt is in the cheeks, especially the upper part, and not the sides), so it is difficult to find any off-the-rack pants, let alone work pants, that fit well. I was encouraged to see that SUK includes extensive garment measurements that gave me the confidence to order a size 14. I knew the waist would be too big, but I was hopeful that the waist adjusters would take care of that. I was surprised at how loosely they fit, so I tried a 12 as well, but decided to stick with the 14s for better range of motion. I will have to take in the waist--the waist adjusters help but not enough. One thing: I wish that SUK had a photo guide showing exactly how and where to take garment measurements, because when I measured my 14s to compare, my front and rear rise measurements were more than 1" longer than theirs, and my thigh measurement was over 1" less than theirs. (See photo of 17" rear rise to compare with the ~16" that they claim.) Please help us make the most of the useful information you provide!
I love the fabric and the style of these pants. I already have a pair of construction pants in Salt lake pink that I love. I went for the same size and was hoping that the legs would be a bit narrower but find them a bit baggy. I'll definitely be wearing them a lot in winter, though, as the fabric is a a heavier weight than my construction pants.
