Our Fabric
We make all our classic styles from a heavy duty 310 gsm 100% Fairtrade cotton drill, with a lightly brushed finished. This means it’s heavy duty, breathable and soft to the touch.
As this is natural material, this fabric does have its limitations: like most 100% cottons, with constant wear, tear and laundering, the cotton can weaken over time. So whilst our styles are designed for long term, day to day use, if you are kneeling on abrasive surfaces regularly, we suggest investing in some knee pads to avoid rips and holes.
Sizing Tips
The 2 Way Pants run true to SÜK size, with a slimmer fit.
Please note all sizing is based on Standard Australian dress sizing, these are not inches! Please check our size chart for more details.
We’ve designed this guide to make choosing your size as simple and accurate as possible, based on both our measurements and real customer fittings.
Our sizing follows Australian numerical sizing. As there’s no universal standard across brands, your size may vary elsewhere. This guide is the best way to find your fit in SÜK.
Find Your Size
1. Measure your body
Bust – measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape measure firm and straight, wrap it under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
Waist – measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso that sits above your hips, where you would like the waistline of your new gear to sit.
Hips - measure the fullest part of your hips and bum.
2. Use your largest measurement
Match your measurements to the chart below using your largest measurement (this is usually your hips).
This ensures the garment fits comfortably across your body.
3. Consider how you like your fit & adjust for your body
Prefer a firm fit? You can size down
Prefer a relaxed fit? Size Up
Between sizes? Most customers choose the larger size for comfort and the ability to cinch the waist using the adjusters
Important: Where you wear your waistband
All our styles are designed to sit high on the waist (except our Mid-Rise Cargo Pants).
Wear them high-waisted → stay true to size or size down
Wear them mid or low rise → consider sizing up or measure where you would like them to sit and compare this measurement to the waist measurement in the chart
All our garments have waist adjusters, allowing the waist to be brought in by up to 10cm.
Real Fit Insights
From our in-store fittings and customer feedback:
Looking for a firm fit? You can size down in our Cotton Drill. This is because the fabric will relax with wear
In-between sizes? Most customers size up when between sizes for comfort, and the waist can be cinched in for a great fit.
Your height and torso length matter: taller customers may prefer more room through the rise and size up

Body Length for Suits (Short vs Long)
Some suits are available in short body and long body options. This refers to your torso length, not your height or inseam length.
If you usually get a wedgie in a jumpsuit, get the LONG BODY
Never had this issue before, get the SHORT BODY
Generally, if you are taller than 180cm, we recommend the Brumby or Roper suits with adjustable straps for extra torso length, and double-check the inseam length will work for you.
The SÜK team says: “Our staff like to size down from their pants sizing for a snug fit in our Brumby, Lagoon and Yard suits. Our Roper and Ringer suits are already fitted and true to size”
Garment Measurements
We provide individual garment measurements on every single one of our items! If you're someone who loves that extra detail, please have a read on the specific garment page. We also try to display the size each model is wearing and their measurements to help you.
These measurements are taken from the flattened physical garment, and then doubled to achieve an accurate measurement. Each chart is specific to each individual style. There is a variation of 1-2cm per garment, as our styles are prewashed and pre-shrunk before we send them to you.
You can use the garment measurements and measure an existing comfy item of clothing and compare it to our chart.
Fabric Notes
Drill: Durable and classic. We recommend an initial firm fit, as our cotton relaxes with wear. It’s similar to true denim, where the fibres soften the more you wear it. Washing will help bring it back to its original firmness.
Denim: Our denim offers the most reliable, true-to-size fit. It has a natural give that conforms to your body over time while maintaining its shape. If you are buying Denim, order your standard size.
Canvas: Built for heavy-duty protection, our Canvas is a thick, highly rigid material with zero stretch. It requires a break-in period. Fit Tip: If you need more room for bending and moving, or if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Ripstop: Lightweight but incredibly tough, Ripstop is a zero-stretch fabric. Because it does not yield around the hips or waist, we strongly recommend sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer a looser, more comfortable fit for active work.
Measuring Tips
Measure in your underwear where possible Keep the tape firm but not tight Ensure the tape sits flat
Style Note
All our pants are designed to be worn higher on your waist, no plumbers’ crack here. Wearing them lower on your hips may change how the size feels. Remember, the waist is adjustable on all our garments.

It took me a second try to get my correct size, so posting in case it helps someone else! I am 5'2, 132 lbs and typically wear a US size 26 or 27 (closer to 27). I ended up with the size 12 and it fits great! I could get the 10 buttoned, but it was too snug for my comfort in the waist.
These are the best work pants I have ever had! Great quality, super comfortable and perfect fit, I didn't even need to hem them. The only addition I would like is leg pocket on the left side as well as the right, then I could have my phone on one side and secateurs on the other.
I LOVE these pants! So many usable pockets and loops. Super excited they come in long now. I'm hoping all the colors will have a long option soon so I can wear the pretty colors and prints!
Perfect fit and comfortable.
Like the zip that seems longer to hit comfortably over my hips without having to squirm and wiggle into the 2 Way Work Pants appear to be very well constructed. Will be purchasing again.
Enjoying these for a few months now. They feel soft but durable and feel good on. Fit is adjustable in waist, which is nice and i have room to move but they aren't baggy. Seem to be holding up fine after a few washes.
Had to exchange a different style due to my inability to realize Australian sizes are drastically different than US and was out of stock in my proper size but it worked out. Easy exchange and pretty fast. Will be back.
I borrowed it from a friend at first, and I fell in love with it after one day! They’re confortable, you can rely on them for any type of work, and they’ll keep you nice and cosy in winter (but also not to warm for the sunny days). As soon as I got to Melbourne, I felt the urge to buy my own pair, and I had to restrain myself from not buying the whole store. Would definitely recomend them if you’re looking for a good pair to work outside, they won’t disapoint. (Also, I took a size bigger than my usual to be extra confortable in every movement:))
I’m having a hard time wearing these as farm pants because I like them so much I don’t want to mess them up! They are a little on the baggy side for me (I got the size 12- I’m 5’4” and 140-145 lbs on any given day. My waist is 30”, and my hips are 41”.) but as work pants I didn't want them super tight. As someone who’s always had a curvy figure the waist cinches are life changing!
My husband was like…”Dang! I want a pair of those!” Also I really like the burgundy but SÜK…if I may… could you make these ones in the salt lake pink too?!?! That would be 🔥!
Mainly gardening, super comfy to wear, pants don’t take much dirt when kneeling on the ground and they seems to last for a very long time with heavy usage.
I bought these pants for work, but would wear them for anything. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness in fit and flexibility of waistband adjustment. I'm so comfortable on the construction site, at the horse farm, working on my own home, or even around the campfire with friends. Highly recommend! I will say I did size up and was happier. I am usually a US size 8 but got the equivalent of a 10 and am able to use the waist adjustments more which I appreciate. I had previously ordered the equivalent of US size 8 and wasn't able to adjust - just something to consider!
These are my favorite pants. They are the most comfortable, most useful pants that are also sturdy but not too stiff. I don’t use a 2-way radio, but the pockets and such are so useful. I can put my phone in one of the side pockets, clip my keys to the d-ring and stuff the keys in that pocket, hang a hammer on the left side, and I still have space for, like, pliers and my wallet. I also like to put a small water or gatorade bottle in one of the back pockets. Cargo pants don't come close to the utility here. Awesome. Also, the straps used to adjust the waist are freaking amazing. I probably order too big bc 1) I would rather wear a baggy pant than have to go through even an easy returns process 2) I'm convinved I'm going to get jacked at some point and need the extra space, and those straps mean I don’t have to wear a belt. I have both sizes 10 and 8, and they are both super wearable this way. I got these on sale, but they're worth full price, too!
I was tired of settling for buying men's Carhartt pants for work because their women's pants fit weird or didn't last. I have had so many compliments from the other women in the shop I work at. It's nice having so many color options so I can feel a little more fashionable instead of frumpy.
