So for these styles, we recommend sizing up. Ie: if you are a size 18 in our classic drill style, you’ll be a comfy size 20 in our new ripstop range.

During the weaving process of this lightweight fabric, stronger and sturdier reinforcement yarns are interwoven at regular intervals in a square pattern. This creates a thin and breathable ripstop fabric that has a two-dimensional structure due to the thicker yarns being interwoven into the thinner cloth.

It’s all in the name: this fabric is designed to ‘stop a rip’ if it snags, by catching on the stronger, reinforcing thread. Simple.
