Size Guide

Welcome to the SÜK Size Guide. We’re hoping to make online shopping even easier by providing all our insider info about sizing and fit.

We offer a body measurement chart and a garment measurement size chart for all our garments. Our sizes follow Australian numerical sizing. There is no standardised size system for clothing, so there can be variation between brands and clothing labels. This is also why we don’t provide a size conversion, as there’s no perfect way to convert sizes.

Body Measurements

All measurements are in centimetres.

Please use this as a general guide, if you find yourself between sizes, we suggest sizing down.

1. Find your size

Measure your bust, waist and hip then use the chart below to see what size will fit best. Please note: The Yard Suit is a more generous fit than our other styles. We suggest sizing down one if you want a tighter fit.

4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28 30

Hip 87.5 90 95 100 105 110 117.5 122.5 130 137.5 145 152.5 160 167.5

2. Find your body length

For some garments we provide a 'long body' and 'short body' option: this has been specifically designed to fit out as many bodies as possible. This variant refers to the length of your torso.

As a general rule, most people are short body. But if you're someone who struggles with the dreaded "camel toe" in jumpsuits or one piece bathers, then you're probably a long body.

In order to find the correct body length for you, measure from the base of your neck to the cross seam junction of your pants (right between your legs!). Ensure the tape is pulled firmly - we know this can be awkward, but we promise it works. You can also double check by measuring all the way through from the base of your neck at the front, through your legs to the back of your neck.

Once you have this measurement, compare it to the table below.

Short body: less than the measurements below

Long body: more than the measurements below

4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28 30

Garment Measurements

We provide individual garment measurements on every single one of our items! If you're someone who loves that extra detail, please have a read on the specific garment page.

All measurements are in centimetres.

These measurements are taken from the flattened physical garment, and then doubled to achieve an accurate measurement. Each chart is specific to each individual style. There is a variation of 1-2cm per garment, as our styles are prewashed and preshrunk before we send them to you.

You can use garment measurements in two ways:

  1. Measure an existing comfy item of clothing and compare it to our chart.
  2. Measure your body, add approx 3-5cm length to allow for the garment to sit comfortably on your body, and compare to our chart.

Fitting notes

Fabric Tip

We recommend an initial firm fit, as our cotton relaxes with wear. It’s similar to true denim, where the fibers soften the more you wear it. Washing will help bring it back to its original firmness. If you’re in between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down. But this is your body, and you can wear what you want and what makes you comfortable.

Measuring Tip

If you can, measure yourself in your undies. You should hold the measuring tape firm (but not digging in) to your body, with no twists or clothing in the way.

Fitting Tip

Our garments are designed to fit a wide range of bodies. In order to have the best fit, some styles are better suited for certain bodies shapes. This is all subjective, and you can wear what you like! These are just recommendations and what we’ve found suits from our time fitting people in store.

Style Tip

Sorry, no plumbers bum here. We’re all about high waisted pants. All our styles are designed with this in mind.
